Kebakaran yang diduga dipicu cuaca panas ekstrem, angin kencang, serta percikan bara (sisa api) dari aktivitas pembersihan lahan tersebut berdampak pada area sekitar 5,5 hektare. Tidak ada korban jiwa maupun kerugian materiil pada kejadian tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Merespons kejadian tersebut, Kodim 1811\/Teluk Wondama bersama Yonif TP 862\/UW, Polri, Pemda, Damkar\/BPBD, Basarnas, serta masyarakat mengerahkan 125 personel untuk menangani kebakaran.<\/p>\n<p>Setibanya di lokasi, personel gabungan melakukan penyekatan dan pembasahan area untuk memutus jalur penjalaran api agar tidak meluas ke perkebunan maupun permukiman warga. Upaya pemadaman juga didukung satu unit truk tangki air, dua pompa air, kendaraan angkut, ambulans, serta sarana pendukung lainnya.<\/p>\n<p>Hingga Rabu sore, sejumlah titik api masih menyala sehingga personel tetap disiagakan untuk melakukan pendinginan dan membasahi sisa api di bawah lapisan lahan.
