COM GROUP<\/strong> \u2013Polres Situbondo Polda Jatim kembali menindak tegas puluhan sepeda motor protolan atau modifikasi \u201cherex\u201d yang hendak balap liar.<\/p>\n<p>Sekitar 42 unit sepeda motor ini diamankan petugas patroli gabungan dari beberapa lokasi yang dilakukan razia dan patroli antisipasi balap liar.<\/p>\n<p>Kapolres Situbondo AKBP Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto, SH, SIK, MH melalui Kasat Lantas AKP Yudho mengatakan patroli gabungan yang digelar sejak Kamis (2\/5) itu menindak lanjuti aduan Masyarakat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKami menerima aduan Masyarakat via media sosial yang resah atas maraknya aksi balap liar yang sering membahayakan pengendara lain dan warga sekitar yang akan beraktifitas,\u201dujar AKP Yudho, Minggu (5\/5).<\/p>\n<p>Patroli gabungan yang melibatkan 50 personel Polres Situbondo ini dilakukan sejak Kamis (2\/5) sore dibeberapa lokasi yang marak aksi balap liar salah satunya di jalan Desa Duwet Kecamatan Panarukan.<\/p>\n<p>Di lokasi, petugas mendapati sejumlah pemotor hendak adu kecepatan di jalan desa.<\/p>\n<p>Petugas langsung membubarkan aksi tersebut berikut menutup dua sisi akses jalan agar para pebalap liar tidak bisa melarikan diri.<\/p>\n<p>Hasilnya, sebanyak 42 unit motor diamankan petugas dari beberapa lokasi. Mayoritas kendaraan roda dua tersebut tidak sesuai standar.<\/p>\n<p>Mulai dari menggunakan knalpot yang tidak sesuai spec, ban cacing hingga tanpa plat nomor dan tidak dilengkapi surat kendaraan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPatroli pencegahan balap liar kami berhasil mengamankan 42 sepeda motor yang hendak melakukan aksi balap liar dan juga kedapatan menggunakan knalpot yang tidak sesuai spesisifikasi Teknik,\u201d terang Kasat Lantas AKP Yudho.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, Kasat Lantas AKP Yudho menegaskan semua sepeda motor dikenakan sangsi Tilang dan yang terlibat balap liar ditahap selama 2 bulan.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk kendaraan yang tidak sesuai standar juga diwajibkan mengembalikan sesuai standar pabrik termasuk pengendaranya juga diberi pembinaan oleh Satlantas Polres Situbondo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSemua pelanggar dikenakan sanksi Tilang dan sepeda motor yang terlibat balap liar ditahan selama 2 bulan supaya ada efek jera bagi pelanggarnya,\u201dlanjut AKP Yudho.<\/p>\n<p>Polres Situbondo sebelumnya sudah memberikan warning kepada siapa saja agar tidak melakukan aksi balap liar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMengedepankan himbauan secara humanis namun karena masih bandel akhirnya dilakukan penindakan secara tegas,\u201dpungkasnya.
