Kegiatan penyambutan ini dipimpin oleh Kepala Staf Koarmada III Laksamana Pertama TNI Singgih Sugiarto, S.T., M.Si., yang mewakili Panglima Koarmada III Laksamana Muda TNI Hersan, S.H., M.Si.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>KRI Balongan-908, kapal bantu cair minyak (BCM) yang baru bergabung dengan Koarmada III, dikomandani oleh Letkol Laut (P) Priyanto Widodo dan membawa 98 personel ABK. Kapal ini akan berperan penting dalam mendukung operasi dan latihan unsur-unsur KRI Koarmada III secara berkelanjutan, memberikan bantuan logistik berupa bahan bakar, air tawar, minyak pelumas, serta makanan untuk kapal-kapal yang beroperasi di laut.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>KRI Balongan-908, yang diluncurkan pada 2 September 2022 dan diproduksi di galangan Batamec Shipyard Batam, memiliki kapasitas besar dalam memberikan dukungan logistik ke kapal-kapal yang bertugas di luar pangkalan. Kapal ini juga dapat menjalankan tugas tambahan, seperti mengangkut personel dan barang terbatas, melaksanakan SAR terbatas, patroli, serta mendukung operasi bakti TNI dalam pembangunan nasional.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nama &#8220;Balongan&#8221; sendiri diambil dari sebuah kota di Provinsi Jawa Barat yang dikenal dengan kilang minyak Pertamina, yang menjadi simbol penting dalam sektor energi nasional.
